About Ceasar's Bag

CeasarsBag is a personal crypto portfolio tracker built for people who take their stack seriously, without being nickel-and-dimed by the tools they rely on.

Why it was built

Like many crypto holders, I tracked my portfolio through CoinGecko's free tier for years. It worked until it didn't. Once my transaction history crossed the 500-entry mark, CoinGecko started pushing me toward a paid plan just to see accurate P&L on coins I already owned. Paying a recurring subscription to access my own data felt wrong.

So I built CeasarsBag: a self-hosted tracker that runs my own price service, stores my own transaction history, and costs me nothing beyond the server it runs on. No per-transaction limits. No algorithm deciding what I can see about my own portfolio.

Beyond cost, there were features I genuinely wanted that no existing tool offered in one place. CoinGecko, Delta, and CoinStats all had pieces of the puzzle, but none had all of it.

Features I wanted to exist

These are the things that drove the build, either missing from every tool I tried or locked behind a paywall:

Multi-currency See your portfolio value in your local currency, not just USD. CAD, EUR, GBP, whatever you actually spend in.
Multilingual Full French support from day one. Most tools are English-only or offer broken translations. CeasarsBag is built bilingual.
Fear & Greed Market sentiment at a glance. The Crypto Fear & Greed Index shown directly on your dashboard so you can read the room before making a move.
Solana Epoch For Solana stakers, knowing where you are in the current epoch matters. CeasarsBag surfaces epoch progress and estimated next reward timing.
And more Bitcoin halving countdown, gas trackers, staking yield tracking, and other context that serious holders actually use.

The builder

I'm Daniel Filion, a software developer operating under the Winvasion label. Winvasion is my one-person studio focused on building opinionated software for problems I encounter myself: tools that are small, fast, and don't ask for more than they need.

I've been building software professionally for close to three decades. CeasarsBag is the tool I wished existed, so I built it.
