Privacy Policy

1. What We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the Service:

• Email address — used to identify your account and allow you to log in.
• Password — stored as a one-way bcrypt hash. We never store your plain-text password.
• Transaction data — the cryptocurrency transactions you manually enter (coin, amount, price, date, notes). This data is stored encrypted on our server so it can sync across your devices.

We do not collect your name, phone number, location, or any payment information.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively to operate the Service:

• Authenticating you when you sign in.
• Syncing your transaction history across your devices.
• Displaying your portfolio value and P&L calculations.

We do not sell, share, or rent your data to any third party. We do not use your data for advertising or profiling.

3. Data Storage

Your account and transaction data are stored on a private server hosted on a VPS. Transaction data is kept in individual encrypted files, one per user account. Access to the server is restricted and protected by SSH key authentication.

4. Third-Party Services

CeasarsBag fetches market data from third-party sources on your behalf. These requests are made from your browser and are subject to those services' own privacy policies:

• Price data — fetched from public market APIs (CoinPaprika, exchange APIs). No personal data is sent.
• Fear & Greed Index — fetched from alternative.me if you enable this feature. No personal data is sent.
• Exchange rates — fetched from a public currency API for non-USD display. No personal data is sent.

No analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising scripts are loaded on this site or in the app.

5. Cookies & Local Storage

The app stores your authentication tokens and display preferences (theme, currency, date format) in your browser's local storage. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us. No tracking cookies are used.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Settings page inside the app. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you (your transaction history is always visible inside the app).
• Export your full transaction history as a CSV file from the app.
• Delete your account and all data at any time.
• Contact us with any privacy-related questions or requests.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
